Jennifer was a shooting guard on my Foothill High Freshman Girls Basketball team in the 2003-2004 season. She was one of the better players on the team and was our best shooter. I can remember calling time outs to set up special plays to get her the ball when the game was on the line. She was admired by her teammates for coming through in such tough situations.
She was diagnosed with cancer shortly after the season, and passed away in the late fall of 2004. She is remembered for her hard work and dedication to the game. We both wore number 22 and it is now retired in her honor. She inspires me daily and I miss her greatly.
